The kb and kb_server source code is here in the kb_src tarball. The
programs will compile on both Linux and FreeBSD systems. You must have the
gcc compiler, the Linux kernel sources (Linux compilations only), the Gnome
development include files (plus the libgnome-devel package), and the GTK+
development files already available on your machine.

In a terminal window, change to your kb directory and type ./makekb <enter>
to compile the kb main program. Then type ./makekb_server <enter> to
compile the kb_server network program.

The install_kb_bells script and source code are in the kb_bells subdirectory
in the kb_inst tarball. On Linux systems, you will also need to run the
install_kb_bells script if you haven't done so already. This step is not
necessary on FreeBSD systems.
